On August 30, 2020, our beloved poodle, Sophie, crossed over the rainbow bridge. For the last almost 13 years, Sophie was my constant companion. She never left my side if she didn’t have to. I took her everywhere — to work, hiking, visiting, protesting, … wherever I went that she was welcome. Sun, rain, snow… it didn’t matter. If I was going, she was too.
At home, life with Sophie was a constant parade. Always by my side. Sitting at my feet, waiting for me outside the shower. You always knew where I was from where Sophie was.
She had many friends — canine and human. Right up to the last moments, she drew “ahs” an “ohs” from passersby. She was irresistible to children, who loved her soft curly hair.
She was a special dog, a friend, a kind and caring angel who looked over us in life and now is looking over us in death. Beautiful, athletic, amazingly intelligent. Everyone who knew her loved her.

Lamento que ya no esté con ustedes , era un perrita hermosa y se lo difícil que ha de ser su perdida . Al igual se que no pudo haber tenido mejores dueños . Feliz nueva vida Sophie , dónde quiera que estes. .

Wow. I’m so deeply sorry that your Sophie has passed to the Rainbow Bridge.
You write a loving tribute to her, and she will clearly be missed every day by you and Lynn.
Having had my two dogs for less than a year, I can’t imagine how lonely I’d be without their compainship.
I’m sending you love, light and lots of hugs!
